Bassam took a hold in the Saudi Aramco strategic outsourcing initiative; Electrical Stocker Distributor (ESD) Program which began in 2005. The ESD is a holistic Inventory Outsourcing and all associated Supply Chain Management functions business model. Beginning of 2007, Saudi Aramco signed a new ESD purchase agreement valued at SAR 0.5 Billion with AKH covering more than 3,000 items. Bassam play a key role in the ESD which becomes a standalone entity within AKH to manage this business model that consolidates large orders, provides more choices for customer, streamlines the supply chain (MRP, material staging, ESD portal, material return, 24/7 full customer support and all regions coverage.) Our client established that this initiative facilitates the cost effectiveness through transferring the inventory and services used to be provided by Saudi Aramco. The key advantages for customers are a simplified order process, improved materials availability and lower pricing. Knowing that AKH is processing more than 250 Purchase Order items daily, Saudi Aramco captured significant cost saving from implementing the ESD. AKH have further equipped the ESD with vendor web-based services for a wide spectrum of Saudi Aramco operations and project including exploration and producing, gas operation refining and distribution and community and office Services.
Mr. Ramesh Pillai was appointed as Manager (Business Development) for Naizak Global Engineering Systems in 1998 to manage Industrial Automation Division which cater for ERP, Supervisory Control Data Acquisition (SCADA), Plant information Management System, Data Validation & Reconciliation (DVR), Online Process Performance Monitoring, Control Loop Performance Assessment, Advanced Process Control (APC) etc. He was instrumental in establishing the core business activity of Naizak, hence aligning our self with renowned technology, product and solution providers. He is also a member of several professional and engineering associations in Saudi Arabia and USA. His current focus is in the enterprise application domain to the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Power industry.
Mr. Fouad Al Karam joined Al Abdulkarim Holding in 1999 as a Sales Engineer in the Oilfield Division. He graduated from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran with Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mechanical Engineering. Fouad was instrumental in the development of laboratory equipment business line within the group and has successfully improved sales & services activities. During his tenure, strategic partnership agreements with leading principals were developed in the area of Analytical and Industrial Lab Technology. In February 13, 2005, Naizak Lab Systems was established as a specialized division within AKH where Fouad was appointed as the General Manager of this division. Shortly the division expanded its business with major clients ARAMCO, SABIC, KFUPM, and other Saudi Universities with a high growth in resources of technical staff reaching 35. The division operates at main branches of AKH in Riyadh, Jeddah, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and India. Today, Fouad Al Karam tirelessly leads the division to continuously achieve growth in revenues, winning new projects, outsourcing leading manufacturers plus supporting and collaborating with the Kingdom’s leading R&D centers & labs of above mentioned clients.
